- My MILs were never there when my children were born. Not invited and both husbands stood up to them. I was there when my first 2 grandchildren were born at my daughters' requests. If they had not have asked I would not have been there.

- If it is from Botswana it is probably a "blood diamond". We paid more per carat for a smaller diamond for mine so that it came from Canada, the rest went to our childrens' colleges.

- When I go to the Clinic for a check up or illness I want to see my Dr. Why? Because I am billed the same whether I see and NP or a MD. My Dr and my daughter's pediatrician are both very good Drs. When we need longer appt and attention for questions we get it.

- I have to agree she sounds like she needs some medical and psychiatric help. Perhaps some kind of half-way house to train her to be a parent and get a job would be better than putting her in jail. At least she didn't kill the child.

- This was her choice, her decision as it is for all women who carry the gene. If it was a choice of an 87% chance of cancer or an almost 0% I would choose the mastectomy.

- If a florist or a cake maker refuses to serve gay or lesbian couples that is their loss it should not be grounds for a lawsuit. Minnesota's law is about basic human rights and that being the right of 2 consenting adults to be a legally recognized family.
